About FastShafts by Axle Exchange, Inc. We're located at 5387 NW 2nd Street, Des Moines, Iowa - approximately 1/2 mile north of I-80 on 2nd Street and can be reached toll free at (800) 622-6617. FastShafts, a division of Axle Exchange, Inc. has been producing driveshafts for Late Models, Modified, Stock Car, Dirt Truck and Hobby Stock race cars since 1992. Axle Exchange, Inc. opened nearly 20 years ago as a constant velocity axle rebuilder. Our first driveshaft line was introduced the next year and as of today, we offer carbon fiber, steel, aluminum and chromoly driveshafts. Our product line includes driveshaft repair, new driveshafts, center sections for Ford 9" rear ends, transmission slip yokes, rear end yokes, ring and pinions, bearings, spools, gears and shim kits. Our speciality services include gear rental, lightening and polishing gears as well as being a repair facility for both Bert and Brinn transmissions.

	PAT FAGEN Pat Fagen created, owns and has operated Axle Exchange, Inc. / Fastshafts for almost 20 years. His driveshaft line is the result of many years of testing and building driveshafts for local drivers to nation-wide racing teams and distributors. Pat can be found at many race events throughout the year. Currently he personally races in the dirt truck class at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Friday nights. In 2010 he has already won 3 features - 1 at Marshalltown and 2 at Des Moines. His personal racing background includes modifieds and stock cars.
